WEATHER REMINDER:

Please remember take instruments and music home every day so that you can practice in the event of a delay or cancellation.  Not a good situation, particularly if you are attending solo and ensemble.

If you are in Winter Percussion, Winter Guard, or Pep Band, watch for emails or posts on the band’s Facebook page updating you about weather-related cancellations.   If you haven't "liked" our Facebook page yet, do a search for "WCHS Marching Tigers Pride" and it should come up.

Pep Band can also listen to WRSW 107.3fm for announcements about a game cancellation or postponement, if it occurs.  Remember that if school is canceled – that doesn’t necessarily mean that a game is canceled.  If the weather or roads clear up enough by the evening, they will usually go ahead with the game.

 

So far as Winter Guard and Winter Percussion rehearsals are concerned, if school is canceled, after-school activities typically are as well.

 

 

 

Welcome to the Warsaw High School Band in Warsaw, Indiana under the direction of Mickey Ratliff and Emily Mikel.  The Warsaw High School Band Progam consists of six performing ensembles:  Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band, the Pep Band, and in the fall, the award winning Tigers Pride Marching Band!

At the conclusion of football season, the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Pep Band and Jazz Band start preparing for their individual performances, concerts and games in winter and spring.  Individual musical development is an essential part of the Warsaw TIgers Band Program.  In addition to large group performances, many students participate in solo and ensemble contest at the district and state level.
